We have had the great privilege of working at The Brewery Venue for the best part of a decade. A jewel in the crown of London’s most prestigious venues. Its popularity for corporate and private events alike comes as no surprise. Finding itself at the top of venue favourites for the event industry, The Brewery Venue never fails to impress.

The History
Take a step back in time…
You cannot resist the historic charms of this venue. Located in the heart of vibrant Chiswell Street, this 18th Century building is a longstanding icon of the area. As you may have guessed from the name, the Brewery venue was a former Whitbread brewery. The Whitebread Brewery was wildly successful and, in its heyday,, it was visited by Royalty! With visits by George III, Queen Charlotte, Queen Elizabeth II and Elizabeth the Queen Mother, you and your guests will be on a prestigious list of visitors.
As you can imagine, The King George III and Queen Charlotte rooms were named after those royal visits. Originally storage for beer barrels, the high vaulted ceilings at this venue give guests a sense of the history from the moment they step inside.

Psst… Let me tell you a secret. The Events team at the Brewery are the masterminds that brought to life the Dream Circus event concept. Back in 2015, they delivered a spectacular Christmas Party Package with the Dream Circus theme. Creative Director, Simon Lockwood’s is always striving for the next big thing in events and without fail, delivers it time and time again for the Christmas Parties.
2015: Dream CircusConcept: A surrealist extravaganza, the Dream Circus came to town! Guests aghast, greeted by an elephant floating overhead on a hot air balloon. The event spaces displayed a thrilling collection of circus tropes. A surrealist twist on a Victorian circus, this theme has gone onto take the event industry by storm! 2016: Apostles of AnonymityConcept: Who can resist a secret society? Certainly, the guests of 2016 could not. The Brewery Venue invited clients to join their secret society of masked Apostles. The venue was draped in opulent red velvet and crystal chandeliers. Entertained by magicians, an opera singer, fortune teller, ring juggler, and ribbon dancers. Guests were thoroughly enchanted. 2017: AuroraConcept: The Aurora theme was one of venues more conceptual ideals. Inspired by the aurora borealis, bringing the magic of the Northern Lights to London. The idea that a darkness was swept over the capital and the only light is that of the Aurora. The Brewery styled in riotous colours, this was a vibrant season of parties. 2018: Golden PalmsConcept: A veritable chameleon, the Brewery transformed again for the festive season of 2018. This time opening The Golden Palms Lounge and Casino. Guests invited to the grand opening. Greeted with a cocktail at the bar, with the distinctive melodies of the Rat Pack playing. 2019: Goodnight CabaretConcept: Inspired by the crumbling vaudeville theatres of old, The Brewery venue took a vintage approach in 2019. An intoxicating blend of twenties styling with a cabaret tones. A spellbinding season of Christmas Parties with raucous dancing and titillating performances. 2020: Enchantment Under The OceanConcept: Christmas 2020 will see the Brewery venue transformed to Chiswell Valley High School, 1955. Hosting their senior prom, the theme will be ‘Enchantment Under The Ocean’. Guests get to be Prom King and Queen for the night. Live out all their American High School movie fantasies!
