Events in Detail:

EVENT: The Events Company | Mirror Ball Tall | 21st September 2019

The Client: A key partner of ours, we have worked with The Events Company for many years. Tony and his team have two decades of experience to draw upon. They consistently carry out extraordinary events that are the talk of the industry. Covering a wide range of events, everything from large scale corporate functions to charity galas- they do it all!  Innovative thinkers that specialise in event management. They use their creative strengths to make sure every event stands apart from the rest. Tony heads up a professional team of event managers that work year on year to be at the leading edge of events.

The Centrepiece: A phenomenally popular design, the Mirror Ball Centrepieces is one of our first centrepiece concepts. Having first featured at a Pallex Event back in 2010, these centrepieces has gone on to feature across thousands of events. With great versatility, it is perfect for both a Disco themed party and a corporate awards function. The later style of event that this highlight covers.

The Event: An awards evening hosted by Softcat Events. An event lit in fuchsia and purples. A rosy glow cast across the tables and beautifully reflected in the mirror of the disco ball. Robert Adams and Connor Jeffries worked this event installing the centrepieces. Our guys always relish the opportunity to return to Birmingham Hilton Metropole.

EVENT: Faversham House | Low Crystal Globes | March 26th 2019

The Client: Another one of our loyal customers, we work with Faversham House on several events throughout the year. They are an independent media group. Aiming to inspire people to make a difference, they develop business strategies and nurture new connections across the industry. Operating in three distinct markets; utilities; sustainability and visual communications. They bring powerful connections and influential marketing solutions.

The Centrepiece: A classic design that has always proven popular here at Table Art. The Low Crystal Globe has a clean cut look makes it THE go to choice for an awards show. For events looking to steer clear of a theme, a simple design for the table centre is the way to go. Letting the design speak for itself and allowing the colours of the centrepiece to pair beautifully with the rooms AV.

The Event: At the height of the spring rush, one of five events held on March 26th. With the team spread across the country, we had Connor Jeffries and Jake Rheams working this event. A favourite centrepiece for the team, the install of these couldn’t be simpler. Completing their installation within 20 minutes of arrival, the guys set to task taking a great collection of photographs. All of which were passed onto both the client and Birmingham Hilton Metropole post event. We love to share!

No two Blaze centres are the same, hand sculpted, they are a veritable art installation right in the heart of the table. Top Banana run state-of-the-art events and so it’s no wonder that they opt for the upgrade to DMX for every booking. Running their lights direct from the lighting desk, the AV team on site always run an impeccable light show.

The Event: The Linnaeus annual awards 2019 held inside the Monarch suite of the Birmingham Hilton Metropole. A colourful event that opted for room lighting to match their branding. EVENT: Create Events | Art Deco | 9th May 2019

The Client: Create Events is a diverse event management company, run by MD Clare Davies. Create Events are event specialists that deliver a variety of events for the corporate market. Renowned throughout the industry for their five-star service, Clare heads up a team that never fail to make an impact. Focussing on event administration techniques, guest satisfaction, event publicity and event cost control. The result is a well run event that takes all the usual hassle out of planning.

The Centrepiece: As the name suggests, the Art Deco Table Centre is the go-to choice for a Twenties themed party. With it’s shaping so emblematic of the period, the addition of the table number makes it practical as well as aesthetic. We offer these in two heights, a tall version as pictured which stands at 80cm height. Then a low-level version which sits elegantly under 45cm. A mix of the two is always a great way to add a dynamic look to a room.

The Event: Inspired by the decadent parties of the Great Gatsby, this soiree had it all! With the perfect vintage lighting highted with our centrepieces and welcome drinks serviced in elegant glassware, the atmosphere palpable from the moment you arrived. The Kings Suite at the Birmingham Hilton Metropole acted as an extraordinary backdrop to this antique styled party.

EVENT: Tile Association | Low Candlestick | 12th April 2019

The Client: Not all our bookings come through agencies. On occasion we have clients come to us direct. This being the case in this instance, The Tile Association contacted our offices directly. What do the Tile Association do? Well they are an amalgamation of various companies that make up the UK Tiling Industry. Their aim? To offer a competent, qualified workforce in the industry.

The Centrepiece: A little sister to the Candelabra design. A variation on the classic Candelabra designed almost a decade ago. Looking for a low-level centrepiece with all the elegance and romance of the Candelabra- the Candlestick is the solution. Narrowing down the silhouette, we added ornate detailing to the stand. Now offering both a tall and low-level version of the Candlestick, the later chosen for this particular event.

The Event: Looking to dress their annual awards show, they had a masquerade theme they wanted to bring to life. This awards show aimed to celebrate their best of the best. Highlighting those workers within the industry that have gone above and beyond. With a masquerade theme realised with the help of our table centres, guests joined in with the fun. Wearing masks and dancing the night away!

EVENT: MCL Create | Blaze | 1st November 2019

The Client: MCL Create have been one of most cherished partnerships. Having worked with them for the best part of five years, we have built a relationship with the team that is invaluable. So, what do MCL Create do? Well, in short, what don’t they do? Primarily working in production management, they have a team of production managers that deliver a huge range of events. Also offering design & printing services, they have a dedicated team of graphic designers, ready and waiting to bring your concepts to life. Finally, they have equipment hire services, specifically in the field of AV. A fantastic tool for any event organiser looking for help, MCL are the full package.

The Centrepiece: Déjà vu? No, you aren’t going mad. We have already featured a Blaze centrepiece on this listing. It’s little wonder with the Blaze being such a popular choice for events. Not being specific to any theme is this design’s biggest strength. It lends itself well to most aesthetics. Being made from clear acrylic, it takes on colour beautifully and can easily match whatever brand colours you have in mind.

The Event: With Winter vibes, an event fit for the autumn/ winter season. The Blaze table centres illuminated in crisp white hues, lighting the bubbles of the acrylic effortlessly. The effect? A frosted look that perfectly matched the winter theme. Run by Andy Rawlings and Kevin Cooper, both love their time working at the Birmingham Hilton Metropole. Well versed in life at the hotel, the guys find the perfect spot to hideout and chill while the event finishes. Perfectly placed to hop in the room and start derig once given the green light!

EVENT: Cheerful Twenty First | Star Float | 28th January 2020

The Client: New to the ways of Table Art, one of the first bookings made by the Cheerful Twenty First agency. An agency that focusses on live event management, including venue sourcing, brand communications and brand amplification. They are one of the leading groups in the field and never fail to deliver outstanding events. As we said, as our first opportunity to work with the group. A great first impression, we have gone onto work with them a further three times. Hopefully once the industry recovers after Covid, we can get back to life and start work with the Cheerful Twenty First agency again.

The Centrepiece: The Star Float is always a popular choice over the Christmas period. With its crisp white star design, highlighted with silver glitter. It is an instantly eye-catching centrepiece. Distinct in its construction, the star appears to float. In fact, it is hung carefully on acrylic rods and then uplit with our DMX technology.

The Event: With a predominantly young attendees list, the event had a lively atmosphere! Expertly hosted by Hugh Dennis, the awards show managed it’s corporate aims with a vibrant evening of entertainment.
