The Best of the Best – Pre-Lockdown Events
Here at Table Art, we are desperately missing events. From the early design stage, to liaising with our clients, to setting up on the evening itself, we can’t wait to be back.
Just like you, we’re waiting for the COVID-19 pandemic to calm down and preparing for a big return as soon as it’s possible, and of course safe, to do so.
We’re feeling reminiscent at the moment, so in today’s blog, we’re going to take you through just a few of our favourite events from before the lockdown.
12th March 2020 @ Blackpool Winter Gardens
The highly anticipated Red Rose Awards came around fast for its 2020 edition. Blackpool Winter Gardens was the venue again, but this year they wanted a different look on their tables.
After consulting with our expert team, the decision was made – it’d be the Summit to adorn the tables for their prestigious event. Some customisation was also wanted, however. Therefore, printed table numbers were added to the centrepiece, so guests wouldn’t get lost in the spacious venue.
Crew members Rob, Kevin & Ashley were tasked with the drive up the M6 to the north west and the results were stunning. During the event, plenty of photos were posted on social media featuring our table centres – something we always love to see!
5th March 2020 @ Novotel London West
Back in March, crew Connor & Rob were London bound for the Event Production Awards, a fantastic celebration organised by the talented team at Mash Media.
The event was a huge success as the best of our industry was celebrated in style at the London venue. In the same vein, we also worked with the Mash Media team just a few week earlier at the Event Production Show!
The table centre of choice? Our Rio Twist! Perfect for carnival themed event, this centrepiece comes equipped with two DMX light plates. Therefore allowing your AV team full control over the table lighting!
4th March 2020 @ Manchester Central Complex
Manchester Central is one of the most popular event venues in the country, thanks to its spacious interior. Therefore, it is perfect for large-scale parties like this one.
Laid evenly across long tables were our Full Moon centrepieces. Crew Andy & Jake were on this one and they delivered the Table Art magic we always promise.
7th March 2020 @ Grays, Essex
In early spring, we were booked to provide a multitude of different props and centrepieces for a private party in Essex.
From Moving Eye Masks, to Masquerade Candelabras, to LED Bar Stools, this event really had it all! Besides, who doesn’t love a Masquerade themed event!?
Crew member Ollie was the man tasked with the job. His work was top notch, creating a stunning environment for a whole night’s worth of party!
3rd March 2020 – The ICC, Birmingham
This event in particular looked absolutely spectacular. With over 50 tables in this iconic Midlands venue, we were chosen to blow guests away with our LED table centres.
A mixture of 3 centrepieces were chosen – the Tall Gold Ritz Lamp, Low Gold Ritz Lamp & Windsor Candelabra.
With such a big job at hand, we needed to send 3 staff. Therefore, it was Gary, Connor & Ashley who headed up the M40 into the second city for this one.
