Berlin Event: A Table Art Adventure

Table Art illuminates Berlin

Table Art brings the party wherever they go, from Berlin to beyond!

🎉 Get ready to join MD Gary and Table Art tech Herbie on their Berlin event adventure! 🚀

Recently, we took an exciting new booking that would take us to the vibrant city of Berlin. Tasked with transforming TIPI AM KANZLERAMT, our brief was to bring the magic of Table art to this fantastic cabaret style venue. The client was particularly keen to highlight our Pixel range, making most of the DMX lighting system. The event focussed on brand and performance and so it was important that our DMX system worked alongside the AV lighting for the evening.

The excitement kicked off as MD Gary and Herbie hopped aboard the Eurostar, making sure they took footage of the van loading off into France.

TIPI AM KANZLERAMT Theater

Arriving in the electric city, they wasted no time diving into action. Their first stop? The legendary TIPI AM KANZLERAMT Theater, oozing with history and charm, setting the stage for their creative magic.

With their signature flair, MD Gary and Herbie transformed the theater’s reception area into a fabulous light show, featuring Table Art’s creations. Pixel strings took centre stage in reception, standing high on a platform, captivating all who entered. And the branded cubes? More than just decorations – they screamed style and sophistication! Delivering brand to the drinks reception in an instant, they sat on poseur tables, Lighting up drinks as guests mingled.

In the main room, the guys installed our Pixel tube table centres on the lower cabaret level. To drop down to that space, there are two sets of stairs, here they highlighted the walkway with Pixel posts. Perfectly placed, the pixel tubes highlighted the awards and performances.

Antwerp

Adventures

Berlin is quite a drive so they split the drive and took a break in Antwerp. They wasted no time diving into the city’s vibrant nigh life, mingling with locals, getting stuck into delicious food, and taking selfies at historic sites. The guys enjoyed a night of laughter with newfound friends, as they explored the charming streets and picturesque canals.

Pixel Rope Entrance

But the real showstopper? A red carpet pixel installation that practically begged guests to make a grand entrance. It was a length of 7m red carpet, lined with the Pixel Posts and luxury red rope. This was installed in an instant as the guys pride themselves on their fast installs.

Collaborating with Performances

Sync Success

Gary worked his magic on this one, running the lights from the desk. Setting the lights to brand colours. He dimmed, brightened and flashed the pixel tubes to compliment the performances on stage.

As the evening unfolded, the theater came alive with lights and sound, Table Art’s creations taking center stage.

Exploring Berlin

Eager to explore Berlin’s vibrant streets, MD Gary and Herbie set out to discover hidden gems. From iconic landmarks to trendy cafes, they soaked in the sights, sounds, and flavors of the city, one adventure at a time.

One highlight? Herbie’s first visit to Checkpoint Charlie and the Berlin Wall. Stepping back in time, they traced history’s path. It may have been cold but Herbie and Gary couldn’t be deterred! They were loving life in this amazing city.

They particularly enjoyed the berlin underground, enjoying buskers renditions of 90s classics. If you’ve missed it, head over to our highlights on instagram to see Gary and Herbie vibing out to buskers on the underground.

And let’s not forget the culinary delights! From traditional bratwurst to mouthwatering currywurst, Herbie didn’t miss a bite! The man is a bottomless pit, old age and metabolism hasn’t caught up with him yet.

Of course, no trip to Berlin would be complete without a visit to its world-famous museums and galleries. From the iconic Museum Island to the cutting-edge exhibitions at the Berlinische Galerie, MD Gary and Herbie immersed themselves in the city’s rich cultural scene, discovering new artists and uncovering hidden gems at every turn.

But wait – there’s more! Their Berlin adventure didn’t end there. From the trendy streets of Kreuzberg to the historic charm of Prenzlauer Berg, MD Gary and Herbie explored every corner of the city, soaking in its vibrant culture and eclectic atmosphere.

Onto Amsterdam

As their time in Berlin came to an end, MD Gary and Herbie didn’t want the adventure to end. With the event finishing rather conveniently on a weekend, the boys took a cheeky drive up to Amsterdam. We have had the great privilege of working in this city several times so Gary knows it well. It was Herbies first time so Gary took him to the sites, and to his favourite cafes to enjoy tea and cake.

But the most memorable part? The people they met along the way. This is what Gary loves most, the characters he meets along the way. The lorry drivers on the Eurostar, the clients, the people he sits alongside at cafes and service stations. There is no one he will no say hello to. Luckily, this passion for meeting new people is something Herbie shares.
